First Time UCLA Users

1. Please satisfy all safety training requirement through UCLA EH&S, specifically the Chemical Hygiene Plan, Laboratory Safety Fundamentals, and Fire Extinguisher Training.
2. Create an account on FOM (Facilities Online Management) using a valid FAU.
3. In FOM, use the Request Access to New Resource button and select the resource you would like access to.

First Time Non-UCLA Users

1. Obtain a UCLA Logon and sign up for EH&S safety training by following these directions. Complete the Laboratory Safety Fundamentals course and obtain a certificate of completion.
2. Sign up for instrumentation training with the relevant MIC facility by contacting the instrument manager. When you come to the training, notify the staff that you are a non-UCLA user. Submit your safety certificates by email or paper copy.
